Through the development of protective intelligence and a multi-disciplinary approach, we determine the subject's current social environment, their propensity for violent behavior in the past as well as determine the present probability and ability of the subject to escalate to violence.

The target in a threat-assessment case needs to be evaluated in terms of vulnerability to attack, job and personal lifestyle, fear of the subject, and degree of sophistication with regard to the need for caution.
